I thought I understood "Styles & Formatting." But, on a recent document (that I'm editing -- but did not create), MS Word keeps changing my designated styles (Heading 1 and Heading 2) to these...
Style Heading 1 + (Asian) @Arial Unicode MS
Style Heading 1 + (Asian) Arial Unicode MS
Style Heading 1 + (Latin) Times New Roman (Asian) Arial Unicode MS
Style Heading 1 + (Latin) Times New Roman (Asian) Arial Unicode MS...
I've removed "Arial Unicode MS (OpenType)" from my Fonts folder -- to no avail.
Am using Microsoft Word 2003 on a PC running Vista.
Oh, and one more thing...
When I create a "new" document, it doesn't do this. When I COPY some text from the original document, it does!
Any one know how to overcome this? A quick Google search yielded nothing helpful.
Thank you!
