I've successfully used prince-caption-page as Mike has demo'd elsewhere to place "Section (Continued)" above a section's content that has flowed from one page to another.

Is there an equally simple way to place "Continued" below the content on the preceding page?

We do not wish to introduce page breaks between sections, nor do we wish "Continued" to appear when a section ends cleanly at the end of a page.

Currently there is no way to do this. It's something we want to support in the future, but it's going to involve adding new page region mechanisms or selectors to CSS.

Not yet, although so many people are asking for it, we will definitely make it a priority for Prince 10.
