Forum How do I...?

Run Prince on a Mac

ArturoM
Hello,

After multiple attempts I was finally able to install Prince on my Mac (OS X 10.7.4). I installed it at: /Users/Home/prince-8.1. Here's part of the message I got in terminal:

/Users/Home/prince-8.1

Installing Prince 8.1...
Creating directories...
Installing files...

Installation complete.
Thank you for choosing Prince 8.1, we hope you find it useful.
Please visit http://www.princexml.com for updates and development news.

Inside the prince-8.1, there are two folders. One called bin and another called lib.

If I go to terminal and try to run Prince I get this error:
/usr/local/bin/prince: line 3: /usr/local/lib/prince/bin/prince: No such file or directory

Thanks for the help!

Is there a "/usr/local/bin/prince" left over from a previous install? Do you get the same error if you explicitly run "/Users/Home/prince-8.1/bin/prince"?

Thanks, looks like it's working now!
