I am running PrinceXML 8.0 to convert some Chinese xml to pdf.
I put "font-family:宋体；“ in my css file, but in the resul, I am still getting mingliu as my text font.
how do i put simsun(宋体） in the pdf instead of Mingliu.
Simsun is the standard font used in mainland china, and Minliu is used taiwan or HongKong.

You may need to use the English name for the font. If you have the TTF file, you can check this by running "prince --scanfonts simsun.ttf" (or whatever the font filename is) and seeing what Prince gives as the font-family.
