Before the forum upgrade, I would login a press something akin to "View New Posts." This would list any new activity since I last checked. I can't find this feature anymore. It was very handy. Has it been removed on purpose?

We're still working on the forum UI, and plan to add a page for viewing a summary of all the recent activity.
Currently topics with new posts should show up bold, and the "Recent Topics" list on the home page shows which topics have seen recent activity. You can also subscribe to particular forum categories to topics (via the eye icon in the top right) and receive email notifications of new posts.
We have now added a
Recent Topics page which shows the most recent posts to the forum. This can be accessed from the Recent Topics heading on the forum home page.
