Hello,

I have been trying to get to display Rials (Oman Currency) in PDF using Prince, but to no avail. I have tried using the HEX but also the raw symbol, but all I get is a ?

Are these supported in 8.1? If so, how do I get around this issue?

Which character, is it U+FDFC? You will need a font that has a glyph for this character.

It's &#hfdfc. Ah right, so the issue is the font that I am using doesn't include that particular symbol?

I've tried using a variety of fonts, but it still comes up with a ?. I've tried using the US Dollar and British Pound symbol, and they both work fine however.

There is a list of fonts on that page that should support it, however my local version of Times New Roman and other Microsoft fonts do not, perhaps it is only present in newer versions of these fonts?

The Scheherazade font does include a glyph for this character, so you could try this font.
