HI Mikeday,

If I generate a pdf from HTML using pricexml and then zoom the pfd file some texts get overlapped.

Is there any way to stop text overlapping.
mikeday
How are you zooming the PDF file?
satyavati
Sorry Mikeday
It is not zoom issue. Pdf and HTML both are in 100% zoom

1) if I change any text (As shown "ESTTESTTESTTESTTEST") in html, few text get overlapped in html
If generate the pdf, we get overlapping of texts in pdf also but at different place.
See Attachment "OverlappedPdf" and "OverlappedHtml"
Issue is why overlapping at differen lines. Pdf view is changed

2) Also texts in pdf go to the next page if it is column view. Empty column is displayed in Pdf
As shown in attachements "Design is not replicated in pdf"

So html and pdf do not look same
  1. Design changed in pdf.PNG21.4 kB
    Actual Pdf with missing design
  2. Design is not replicated in pdf.PNG37.0 kB
    HTML Design Expected in PDF
  3. OverlappedPdf.PNG13.1 kB
    Texts overlapping on pdf
  4. OverlappingHtml.PNG10.3 kB
    Texts overlapping on html

I guess there is some absolute positioning of HTML content? It is difficult to tell what is going on without seeing a complete input document and CSS. You can email this to me (mikeday@yeslogic.com) if you would like me to take a look.
