Forum How do I...?

Illustrator SVG Size Conversion

grefel
I've got an SVG an viewbox (From Adobe Illustrator CC 2014) which is rendered around 95% of the size I see in Illustrator.

<svg version="1.0" id="Ebene_1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" x="0px" y="0px" viewBox="0 0 453.5 453.5" enable-background="new 0 0 453.5 453.5" xml:space="preserve">

In Illustrator I've 160mm, prince renders 152mm. I read sth. about width and height Attributes, but cannot control the Illustrator export.

What is the reason - I guess different calculation of Px per Millimetre - and what ist the best workaround?

I thougt about scaling the SVG in Prince with 105% would be an easy hack, but I'm happy to hear better or appropriate solutions.

Regards,
Gregor

You could apply width/height via CSS properties, so you don't need to modify the source document.
