Full-Spread Elements

I have two scenarios where I need an element to span two pages.

One is an image, that should be placed like this:



The other is a multi column text frame that should be placed like this:



I've not been able to find anything that says that Prince is capable of doing that, is that the case, or am I missing something?

You can use "float: top" to create a page float like this.

But how do I make one element float across the top of two pages?

Oh sorry I misread, I thought it was just floating across two columns.

Currently we don't have any way to make an element span multiple pages horizontally. There are tricks such as point two "pages" on each piece of paper using columns, but that cannot replicate every layout unfortunately. :(
