Forum How do I...?

Avoiding white space before figure placement.

Balaa
I have used CSS property (page-break-inside:avoid;) to paginate figure and caption in same page. But I getting extra white space before figure placement place. (please see the attached image)

Is there any Prince CSS extension available to avoid the white space or paragraph text will adapt that white space?

You can make it a page float with "float: bottom".

It's working. But I need to place at the top or bottom of pages near to where cited.

Perhaps "float: snap" ?

This property is not supported for this scenario.

Please try with Prince 13 which includes improvements to float: prince-snap.

I have tried the same with prince 13, still getting the same issue. I need something to be filled in the above white space. Is it possible to fill up the above white spaces with the text from the section below the image?

Thanks in advance!

Would you be able to attach a small sample or screenshot showing the problem?
