I use pandoc to convert a MD doc to PDF. Pandoc first converts it to HTML before sending it to prince app for the final conversion. It would be great if Pandoc can line number all lines with text (or simply all non-blank lines whichever is easier) in the PDF. I understand this would means less text per line but that is okay.

This would be a nice feature to have since ours readers of our PDF could tells us what text they are referring to by line numbers in providing technical feedback to our technical PDF publications.

This is a bit difficult to do as HTML and CSS are not line-based formats and do not have a way of numbering lines. Perhaps in the future we can devise a mechanism for this.
