updating to latest RPM on CentOS 4 erases license file

philhassey
Today I updated my princexml install on a CentOS4 server:
rpm -U prince-6.0r5-1.rhel4.i386.rpm

However, l found this erased my license file and replaced it with the "demo" license. I had to find the e-mail with my license.dat file and replace it in /usr/lib/prince/license ...

It would be nice if the rpm package did not over-write an existing license file :)

Thanks!
Phil

Good point! We'll take a look at this for the next release.

The Prince 6.0 rev 6 RPMs should now be more careful about overwriting modified license files; please let us know if the problem happens again.
