Hyphenation with Prince 7.0 beta 1

somnath
Hi,

Using Prince 7 beta 1, I got the following hyphenating patterns.

one more...

Looks like when the last word appearing in a paragraph is hyphenated then, the word splits into new line.

Thanks,
Somnath

We'll investigate this issue, thanks for letting us know. :)

I'm seeing the same with 7.0b1 on MacOSX.

I have similar issue.

Last word of sentence is
kapai
hyphenation table shows
.ka1nate.
.kapai.
.kapai'.
.ka1pala.

So this should not hyphenate at all, but it did hyphenate and created a new line in the process.

It was the only word on the line.
Cutting and pasting from PDF

Lamatua nèd'u paredha dènge koasa
kapai.”
Lamatua Yesus ub'a eele, sèmi èèna
kahèi mèdha papake Na pudhi

but it looks like

Lamatua nèd'u paredha dènge koasa
ka-
pai.”

Lamatua Yesus ub'a eele, sèmi èèna
kahèi mèdha papake Na pudhi

Can anyone post a simple document to demonstrate this hyphenation issue? We're having difficulty reproducing it here.

Thanks for the sample documents, we are isolating the issue and should be able to fix it for the next release.

If it is of further help:

<html xml:lang="es">
<head>
<style>
@font-face {
  font-family: serif;
  src: local("Georgia")
}
@page {
  size: 9cm 12cm;
  margin: 1mm;
}
body {
  font-size: 9.9pt;
  font-family: serif;
  text-align: justify;
  hyphens: auto;
}
span.drop {
  float: left;
  font-size: 400%;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>

<p><span class="drop">E</span>stando en esto, comenzó a dar voces don Quijote, diciendo:</p>

</body>
</html>

What I get is something like:

Estando en esto, comenzó a dar voces don Quijote,
di-
c-
ien-
do:

At the very least, that "c-" should not be alone in one line.

We've now released Prince 7.0, which fixes this problem. Thanks again for letting us know! :)
