Prince & Windows 7

stever
Hi,

I get the following error when I tried to run a local version of Prince (7) I just installed on my new computer which runs Windows 7.

Compoonent 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not currently registered: a file is missing or invalid

Any thoughts?

This was previously discussed.

Prince Component "COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

When trying to run Prince in Windows 7.

We found the file in the Prince folder but had to register the ocx file using regsvr32 while running from an elevated command prompt. Now it works. Perhaps there is an issue with installer permissions.

Any suggestions on how I can activate the file. I should be registered as admin on my computer. Do I need to do this from the command prompt or can I access from my control panel.

thanks again,
