I am creating some documents that use two columns. In some instances, both columns on a page have the same number of lines (which is what I want). In other instances, one of the columns is one line shorter than the other column. In both instances, the columns flow onto multiple pages. I have tried removing one line, and I still can't get the columns to come out evenly. I haven't been able to figure out the difference between the pages that have evenly spaced columns and the ones that don't.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It would be helpful if you could email us the file so that we can reproduce the behaviour here and see what is going on.

You also might like to try a recent alpha version of Prince, that has upgraded columns functionality (and lots of other things), available here: Prince Alpha 2006-03-04.
