Prince alpha 2006-11-10 released

mikeday
Today we have released a new alpha version of Prince, demonstrating some features that will be available in future releases.

The alpha version is available for download here:

The new alpha fixes several minor issues that were found in the last alpha version, including the problem that was affecting URL resolution of Windows paths. Thanks to everyone who tried out the last alpha version! :)

Has it been reported that the internal link issue brought up by JML still exists in this new alpha?
http://www.princexml.com/bb/viewtopic.php?p=1138#1138

Internal links do not work and page numbers in ToC are not generated. I use a similar system and technique (WinXP, UTF-8 encoding, XHTML 1.1) as JML did. I also tried with a "name" attribute (on h2 and on an additional named anchor tag), to no avail.

By the way, congrats for fixing so quickly the other problem mentioned, namely css/images requiring absolute path.

Thanks, this issue is caused by incorrect handling of fragment identifiers in links (eg. the bit after the # character). It will be fixed in the next alpha release; thank you for your patience! :)
