Forum How do I...?

Set up prince to work with Korean Fonts

dcheas
Hi,

I'm in trouble generating korean pdf on a linux machine with Prince 9.0. The HTML I have perfectly display korean but prince show me theses warnings:

prince: warning: no glyphs for character U+C2DD, fallback to '?'
prince: warning: no glyphs for character U+B2D8, fallback to '?'
prince: warning: no glyphs for character U+AC10, fallback to '?'
prince: warning: no glyphs for character U+C900, fallback to '?'
prince: warning: no glyphs for character U+C8FC, fallback to '?'
prince: warning: no glyphs for character U+BC94, fallback to '?'
prince: warning: no glyphs for character U+C6E8, fallback to '?'
prince: warning: no glyphs for character U+CF54, fallback to '?'
prince: warning: no glyphs for character U+B2F4, fallback to '?'

The machine has theses packages fonts set up but still not working:
fonts-unfonts-core
fonts-baekmuk (contains batang and dotum)

Is there something I miss for the configuration? I had the same issue with Chinese/Japanese and installing the correct fonts resolved the issue. I read others korean related post on your forum but I was not able to resolve this issue.

Thanks you in advance,

David

Try installing the latest build, which has the Korean font names added to the default style sheet, along with many other improvements. :)

Thanks in advance,

Can you check which Korean fonts you have installed?
