Installing Prince on a stand-alone server instance

mangagrom
I have a couple of apps on AWS and Azure and I need to generate PDFs for some analytics.

I would like to install Prince on a separate instance on AWS or Azure and call it from within my apps and pass the HTML every time I need to generate a PDF.

What's the best way to do this?

You will need to create a little web service of some kind on that separate instance to receive the HTML and send back the generated PDF.

Thanks for your response mikeday. However, I was wondering about the separate instance that you are referring to. Can, I create it using managed AWS server. I am the marketing personal in an agency and we have to deal with so much of the analytics and data that we need in PDF for the monthly reporting to the client.
As being the Digital marketing agency we don't deal with the servers of our clients and for that reason we go to the managed AWS cloud hosting provider which is Cloudways. So, can I create the instance of the server through these managed hosting service providers.

Yes.
