My PHP script can not run on my browser, I have embedded PHP in HTML, the HTML can be displayed but not PHP. what am i missing? Thank you

The page needs to be on a web server that supports PHP and PHP needs to be enabled and the file may need a .php extension. (This isn't a PHP support forum though, so your question might be better answered elsewhere).
