I realize that it is not an easy feature to implement, but by now my site produces a PDF of 6000 pages and is objectively too big to be managed properly. Clearly I can't use a PDF editor to break it into several parts because it would break all internal links, starting with those in the table of contents. Therefore it would be necessary to generate more volumes of a certain number of pages, each with its own table of content and with cross links that assume that all volumes are in the same folder. I know it is difficult but it would really be a unique feature.
